Project Description:

Facility Dynamics Engineering was retained by the Foulger Pratt Company to assist with the Quality Control program for the AFI Silver Theater project. The project is an integral part of the downtown Silver Spring revitalization and was developed to return the historic Silver Theater to its original Art Deco luster from the 1930s. The project also included new additional facilities for state-of-the-art film, live performance, radio and TV broadcast, and teleconferencing capabilities. It includes vintage and ultramodern technology making it one of the most technically sophisticated theaters in the world.
