Project Description:

Facility Dynamics Engineering performed commissioning services to the new 60,300 sq. ft. elementary school built by the Champaign Schools Units 4 School District. The school is a magnet STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) school for students interested focusing on technical subjects. The facility is designed to provide all students and staff with access to collaborative learning spaces and features traditional classrooms integrated with open area learning spaces, new administrative offices, a large gym/cafeteria with service kitchen, and all associated support spaces. The project received a LEED Gold certification.
