Facility Dynamics Engineering has commissioned K-12 schools for various clients including Montgomery County, Maryland; Henrico County, Virginia; Clark County, Nevada; and the Champaign School District in Illinois. Our K-12 projects include both new school commissioning and retro-commissioning existing facilities.

Facility Dynamics Engineering provided commissioning services for the new state-of-the-art, two-story, 255,000 sf Glen Allen High School in Henrico County, Virginia. The school features a main gymnasium, media centers, fitness health spaces, 1,200 seat auditorium, locker rooms, special laboratory spaces, classrooms, art gallery, cafeteria, administrative offices, conference/meeting spaces, and a field house and concessions building.

T.C. Williams High School

Facility Dynamics Engineering was retained by Alexandria City Public Schools to act as the overall Commissioning Authority for the T.C. Williams High School Construction project. The new school includes more than 461,000 sf on three floors and is designed for 2,500 students.

Booker T. Washington Elementary School

Facility Dynamics Engineering performed commissioning services to the new 60,300 sq. ft. elementary school built by the Champaign Schools Units 4 School District. The school is a magnet STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) school for students interested focusing on technical subjects.
