From our inception, Facility Dynamics Engineering’s focus has been on building controls and the critical role they play in building operations. We are home to many of the leading experts in the controls engineering field and our staff has extensive experience in controls design and master planning. We have discovered that many control problems are frequently entangled with other HVAC system issues, and these issues must be corrected first in order to fully resolve the control troubles. Our senior engineers possess the broad HVAC and control system knowledge required to determine the cause and solution to most every control problem. Some recent examples of control issues resolved by FDE engineers include integration details/problems between lab and BAS control vendors, resolution of normal vs. failure mode sequences, ‘open control protocols’ that were not really ‘open,’ and modifying control logic to account for poor construction of a clean room suite.
