Project Description:
Facility Dynamics Engineering was retained by Alexandria City Public Schools to act as the overall Commissioning Authority for the T.C. Williams High School Construction project. The new school includes more than 461,000 square feet on three floors and is designed for 2,500 students. Classrooms range from auto tech training to science labs with fume hoods. The project received a LEED Gold certification from the USGBC. One of the environmentally friendly features is a rainwater harvesting system that will be monitored and controlled by the building automation system to provide water for non-potable usage such as irrigation, toilet flushing, and cooling tower makeup
